US Army Redstone Part 1

While I was searching for the Mercury Redstone scale date, I was reminded of the US Army Redstone Missile. I used the scale data I came across and created a 3D model of a nose cone in the same 1:52 scale for an ST-16/BT-56 tube size. I printed a test cone overnight, it turned out pretty good, although I have some layering issues in my model I need to address, there are some print imperfections on the back side, so not there yet. Not counting the shoulder, the cone is about 6.4 inches tall and weighs 15 grams.

I think the layering imperfections is artifact of an internal print support structure Cura added. I used Tinkercad to build this model, it has a 100mm height restriction for cones, so I had to stack cones to make this nose cone. The cones are almost imperceptibly misaligned causing Cura to think there needs to be support printed for the inside of the nose cone. I think this somehow affected the outer shell.
